Residential Services Coordinator

  • Management of group homes
  • Directly supervise and coordinate direct support professionals in the operation of facilities

  • Spectrum of Solutions is searching for a qualified intellectual disability professional to develop and oversee individual plans for people with developmental disabilities. Spectrum of Solutions provides a multitude of services to individuals with intellectual disabilities including residential services, supported home living, day habilitation and vocational program. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to develop individual programs, set up and maintain accurate individual client electronic and physical files and records, schedule mandatory medical appointments, and keep track activities of assigned case load, and to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and requirements. The position will work closely with other professional staff to assure the health, safety and welfare of individuals on case load

Job Requirements:

ABA INSTRUCTIONAL THERAPIST ​

Speech & Language Pathologist​

Spectrum of Solutions’ resource center, Spectrum of Solutions, serves as a therapeutic epicenter for the West Texas region. Our team strives to offer a comprehensive approach in the various fields of therapy for children with developmental disabilities. Services provided include ABA therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational therapy, Music therapy, psychological services, and social skills groups.

Our team is seeking a full-time/part-time/contracted Speech-Language Pathologist and/or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide one-to-one intervention for children/clients in accordance with their individualized speech therapy programs at the office, and in-home and/or community settings. Activities involve implementing a variety of teaching strategies and activities to help the child/client make progress toward individualized goals. Responsibilities to include:

  • Plan and implement individualized therapy programs, preparing materials, collecting data and completing documentation for all services delivered.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training and/or shadowing from supervisors, parents, and other therapy team members as appropriate, including demonstration of current programs
  • Communicate regularly and openly with supervisors, therapy team members, and parents/guardians of child/client
  • Provide input to supervisory staff in the development of programs as appropriate, such as identifying strengths/needs and participating in team meetings
  • Accurate and timely submittal of paperwork, including data reports, timesheets, etc.

Spectrum of Solutions is a non-profit providing a multitude of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including residential services, supported home living, day habilitation, and an array of therapies at our Children’s Therapy Center location.

Requirements:

  • Conduct initial and subsequent evaluations for clients participating in individual therapy and regularly update programming.
  • Develop and update individualized behavior intervention programs based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for adults in residential programs as needed.
  • Supervise, shadow, and train RBTs/therapists working directly with clients in participating in individual center-based therapy.
  • Provide training to parents participating in individual therapy at regular intervals to insure successful implementation of interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop behavioral strategies to be implemented in generalized environments providing a wrap-around model of services.
  • Oversee programming for social skills groups and the corresponding parent components.
  • Assist families in finding community supports needed to continue developmental progress prior to discharge.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and supervising behavior intervention program(s) and behavior plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Excellent understanding and utilization of ABA principles and practices
  • Advanced knowledge of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities
